They are fun to deal with, (making it exciting & interestin g), very helpful with a lots of knowledge. They kindly allowed us to have a look at a few pieces in our home before deciding whether it was the right fit or not. You can't go wrong with Karakter

Andrew and Andy are fantastic to deal with. Their communication and attention to detail are second to none -what's more they really know their stuff and are very friendly.They obviously select their pieces with care, are very fastidious in their descriptions (and further photographs which were readily supplied at our request), as well as in undertaking any restorative work required prior to shipping.On both occasions we've dealt with them, the pieces arrived in beautiful condition, having been very carefully wrapped for transport. I suspect we'll end up buying more things we don't need from them!

We were looking around Auckland, getting ideas - and then we saw your place - and suddenly, everything changed. We got so inspired, we only walked across the road and then turned around, came back, bought the table and chairs unseen - and we've been obsessed with design ever since. Thanks for the inspiration. Our eyes are now wide open...

Andrew and Andy are erudite, engaging and easy to deal with. We love shopping at Karakter, not just because they have wonderful high quality furniture and accessories, but because Andrew and Andy are genuine people. They know their stuff and have helped us to design and deliver our vision of an exciting mid century home in Mt Eden.
